Can insulin therapy for gestational diabetes cause weight gain?
They say that it is under normal category if you have 2 to 3 kilos increase in weight but since insulin is responsible only in controlling your sugar levels, exercise and healthy diet are very helpful in managing your weight. In addition, insulin therapy for gestational diabetes can be replaced by oral medications after delivery like metformin which can cause weight loss.
