How will I know if I need insulin or not to treating diabetes?

Insulin therapy depends on many factors but for Diabetes Type 1, it is a lifetime treatment. We all know that Diabetes type 1 is a condition where the body is unable to produce insulin to control blood sugar level in the body. In the case of type 2 diabetes, treatment can be an oral medication or insulin. This is because the situation is; the body is producing insulin but is resisting it or not enough to regulate sugar level.  Insulin therapy might be temporary for type 2 as the treatment depends on your blood sugar level, kidney function, heart, liver and age. The dose may also change from time to time depending on how the body properly responds to treatment.
